Music at Strings & Sol

Strings & Sol 2019 featured performances by an incredible lineup of musicians at multiple stages. We took in afternoon shows at the poolside gazebo stage, then danced in the sand for main stage sets. Late nights were spent dancing at the open air palapa and special guests popped up everywhere.

Yonder Mountain String Band (3 shows) • Greensky Bluegrass (3 shows)
The Del McCoury Band (1 show) • Railroad Earth (2 shows) • The Infamous Stringdusters (2 shows)
Leftover Salmon (2 shows) • The Travelin’ McCourys (1 show)
Horseshoes & Hand Grenades (2 shows) • The Sweet Lillies (1 show)
Special Guests: Jennifer Hartswick • Natalie Cressman

Poolside Sets

Ahh the good life. We spent our days lounging in the sun, meeting friends at the swim up bar, and drifting away on pool floaties in bluegrass bliss. We found paradise as all-inclusive cocktails were served and our favorite artists picked away as we sang our heart out.

Pickin' at the Palapa

We met under the central Palapa to keep the party going as we closed out each night with more bluegrass tunes. With music, friends, multiple bars, and our photo booth, this was the spot to be! We made our way over once the Main Stage shows ended and felt the warm Caribbean breeze rolling through as we boogied down.

Between waking up in paradise and incredible shows every night came a jam-packed schedule of curated activities to bring fans and artists together. Days started with yoga overlooking the ocean and continued with fun programming ranging from artist-hosted workshops, poolside games, and special sets.

Theme Nights

One of the best parts about Strings & Sol was getting creative for our theme night. Where else can you bring out the glittery cape and tie dye suit?! We made sure to have a Spooktacular night as everyone showed up dressed up for Friday the 13th – from black cats to ghouls, and everything in between.

Some grabbed a snorkeling mask and went out on a Catamaran for the day and others swung through the lush jungle into a local cenote. We soaked in the culturally rich Riviera Maya as we spent four days & nights in beautiful Puerto Morelos, Mexico close to attractions in Playa del Carmen and Tulum.

Home Away From Home

We got to call the all-inclusive resorts our home base while we experienced this tropical music vacation together from December 12-16, 2019. Some stayed in the heart of Strings & Sol at Now Sapphire with guest suites close to the stages, curated activities all around, and event happenings. Others, booked at Dreams Resort & Spa just down the beach for a luxurious vacation experience with the advantage of two resorts’ amenities. At night, everyone met on the beach to dance in the sand while our favorite artists performed in the concert venue of a lifetime.
